1/25/03 - Ok Steinbrenner, you douchebag, you win. Seriously, what do you want from us. First you order your minions that if they want to keep their jobs they will come back to NY with Jose Contreras. You then proceed to interfere and cause the Sox to lose out on the services of Bartolo Colon. Now your puppet, er, GM says it was a "baseball based decision" which on the surface is true. But admit it George, you're angry at Lucchino and in you're infantile pursuit of vengeance, you are destroying the spirits of Red Sox fans before the damn season has even started. To cap it off, you get wind of the fact that the Sox are interested in maybe, yes, not even definitely, but maybe, interested in signing Jon Lieber next year, and you have a stroke and sign and INJURED player to a 4 million dollar contract. You know George, I'm beginning to agree with you, perhaps Lucchino's comments were wrong. Why you ask, well simply, you're too stupid, egotistical, and Short sighted to be the emperor. I mean, seriously, if Luke in Star Wars was in a coma, do you think they emperor would have cared enough to recruit him? Hell no, and yet, in signing an injured player solely to keep him away from the Red Sox, that's exactly what you've done. So no, the Yankee's aren't an evil empire, their more like a clown college.............

...The Kevin Millar Saga has been interesting hasn't it. My question is this, if Millar refuses to report to Japan, as has been rumored, what is MLB going to do? deport him?

... The David Ortiz signing has 2 possible outcomes... Tony Clark 2, or Comeback player of the year.....

... Ditto with Australian Dave Nillson....

...Does anyone else think that Shea Hillenbrand must avoid answering his phone? I mean the poor guy has been the rumor of more trade talk than anyone in recent memory...
